The Life of Brian

Not to be confused with the Monty Python movie...

Brian currently works for the Oceti Sakowin Education Consortium and the Dakota Interactive Academic Link (DIAL) as a Project Manager. Most of his duties deal directly with providing high quality education for disadvantaged students. He also gets many opportunities to train teachers, paraprofessionals, school administrators, and community members the joys and benefits of using technology.

Brian has a number of hobbies and interests that he likes to engage in when given enough time. Reading is the hobby he MAKES time to include. He primarily enjoys science fiction and fantasy, but never turns down an opportunity to read history, biographies, and other true to life works. Fishing, biking, and traveling also relaxes Brian. Since these activities take an inordinate amount of time and would require that Brian quit his current job, it will be a while before the next fishing weekend or biking tour. Travel (around the state of South Dakota), however, is something that is job related. Brian is still trying to decide if this actually qualifies as a hobby.
